March '08; Another month and more developments at ISO-Studios.
Studio 1; Plans for our infinity curve, lounge and dungeon sets are now gathering pace. We took delivery of a brown leather sofa recently which will be used in the lounge set in due course, though it’s currently residing in the Reception Area. We’ve also now got a fabulous traditional wooden chaise-longue with yellow upholstery which can be used in any of the studios. Watch this space for further developments in Studio 1.
Studio 2 now has an increased selection of Colorama background papers. The range now includes Black, Arctic White and Crimson with Marine Blue and Buttercup to follow shortly.
We’ve also rigged up two background/foreground/prop suspension lines in front of the primary background support system, which will facilitate the creation of multiple layered backgrounds. For example, we can suspend our new silver venetian blind or even a voile curtain in front of a Colorama paper background, allowing the model to work either in front of it or between it and the paper background with the colour showing through.
In Studio 3, the white brick/textured wall is now fully painted. At right angles to this is the black, soon to be graffiti covered, wall. Slate effect laminate flooring is now in place against the white wall and will soon be extended to cover the black/graffiti wall area as well.
We took delivery of a beautiful brass double bed the day before our Open Day together with a pine ‘cheval’ mirror which together create an effective bedroom set against the white wall.
In the Model’s Changing Room the make-up mirror lights have now been installed and the ceiling has been tented, giving the room something of a North-African feel.
In the Locker Room Area we’re about to install a punch bag whilst in the Showers/Wet Area, we’re looking at building a water trough and shower set. Again, watch this space.
